Given the smith-like gulls at Dungeness and in Norway recently (winter 2001-2002) - Simon kindly let me post this gull that he got some fine pictures of. Having been all the way to smithsonianus and back, I'm going to plump for an argentatus Herring Gull for this - anybody agree to differ?
