| The identification of all the birds in this section is contentious. Some gull enthusiasts think that some of them are just pale Herring Gulls, others would explain them as being leucistic. It is my opinion that they all have Glaucous Gull somewhere in their ancestry, even if they are not necessarily 1st generation hybrids.
